I built another photopopper, this time using the FRED solar engine: an improved, more efficient version of the simpler FLED design. Like my first one, it uses a 4700µF storage capacitor and a 5V solar panel.
For this design, I followed Ray's tutorial to freeform the solar engine, resulting in a very neat and compact circuit. I did have some trouble with this design however - it didn't seem to like any of my motors.
